Vintage Airs Gen V climate control system delivers the proven just right temperatures and dehumidified defrost to 1965-70 Mustang. The Gen V evaporator system uses an exclusive fully electronic microprocessor control system that requires no cables or vacuum connections. The Mustang systems include our patented Cable Converter slide potentiometer adapters to convert the original factory controls to electronic operation. The 1965-68 systems features infinite blower fan speed adjustments while the 1969-70 systems use the original fan speed switch. Separate high capacity copper parallel flow heater coil and aluminum plate and fin cooling coil provide outstanding performance and instant temperature adjustments. These systems mount behind the dash and feature steel firewall cover panels. This kit uses a different condenser for improved clearance at the headlight mechanism.
Vintage Air Gen V Sure Fit Complete System include: evaporator, control panel conversion kit, compressor, compressor bracket, hose kit, condenser with drier and compressor safety switch.
Additional features include variable blower speed and dash/floor/defrost blend.
