I have a 1980 Camaro Z28 with out AC and this backing plate dose not fit the two slide levers that control hot and cold air and defrost and heat they do not line up with the slots, Now I don't know if that's because my Z28 did not come with AC from the factory but I wouldn't think so. So I had to repair the old backing plate.
